Caravans and motorhomes are a higher target for thieves than supercars and luxury models

    They said some caravans without tracking devices were rarely recovered as identity markers were removed.

    Data shows just a handful of drivers have trackers installed in their cars with many failing to install basic alarms.

    Shaun Carse, Trackershop Managing Director said caravans were an “attractive body for thieves”.

    He said: “High spec caravans can cost up to £35,000, whilst top of the range motorhomes sell for £80,000+ – making them an attractive booty for thieves.
