    Carols in the Domain returns! Audiences invited back to the iconic event with Sunrise stars Natalie Barr and David Koch set to host


    Woolworths Carols in the Domain will invite audiences back for the first time since 2019. 

    Last year, the iconic event was televised without an audience due to COVID-19 restrictions. 

    For 2021, the show welcomes fans to picnic on the grounds and watch the show as they had done in years prior.

    Hosting the festivities will be Sunrise stars Natalie Barr and David Koch, and the show will air on Channel 7 and 7Plus. 

    A Seven representative told TV Tonight that the show will be, ‘bringing together the nation for an unforgettable and much-needed night of Christmas joy to those around Australia, all whilst helping those in need through The Salvation Army.’

    They add that ‘Santa hats, picnic rugs and singing voices’ are once again welcome this year.

    Performing on the night will be Samantha Jade, Penny McNamee, Mark Vincent, and Paulini among others. 

    A special appearance from the one and only Santa Claus will be sure to delight children attending.   

    The Woolworths Carols in the Domain went ahead without an audience due to the rising COVID-19 cases in Sydney last year.

    For the first time since 1983, the exciting family event which was due to be held at Sydney’s Domain at the Aware Super Theatre on December 18 and 19, 2020 went go ahead without an audience and instead broadcast on Channel 7. 

    Carols at the Domain is on Saturday, December 18th at Sydney’s Domain. 

    The broadcast will air on Thursday, December 23rd at 7.30pm (AEDT) on Channel 7 and 7plus.
