    Modern Family star Nolan Gould scored a date Monday on the latest episode of The Celebrity Dating Game on ABC.

    The 22-year-old actor who is best known for playing Luke Dunphy on the popular sitcom, picked Rose Rosenfeld, a social media manager from Australia, to go out on a date with him.

    Nolan was intrigued with Rose from the start when she told him she packed up and decided to move her life in Australia to Los Angeles in just one day.

    He told her that if they ended up dating that she was not allowed to own a suitcase. 

    Rose told her she didn’t care what celebrity he was, but that she really wanted to meet him.

    When Rose said her new hobby was scuba diving and she wanted to swim with whale sharks, Nolan was hooked.

    ‘That’s a really good pitch,’ he told Zooey Deschanel, 41, the show’s host. ‘That’s the reason I got into scuba diving to see my favorite animal in the world – the whale shark.’

    Nolan got sidetracked for a moment when bachelorette number one, Amber Blu, a digital marketing specialist, told him about how she had a great time in Cancun despite not having any money.

    She said she just went into a strip club and did ‘a couple things to get some dollars to get back to the States.’

    Nolan wanted a ‘family friendly run down’ as to what happened there and Amber said she got on stage and Cardi B was playing and ‘something took over me and pesos were given.’

    Alexandra Cristin, owner of a hair extension company, told him she liked her man to do all her heavy lifting. She also told him she didn’t know his name, but that he was that ‘shorter fluffier comedian. ‘

    ‘I know the face and I can’t wait to kiss it,’ Alexandra said.
