Chelsea's stance on Harry Kane transfer emerges as Tottenham star looks to force move

Stamford Bridge officials saw an opening bid of £86million rejected by Inter Milan for the Belgin striker – who they sold in 2014 and tried to buy back for £75m just three years later.

However, Inter have reportedly decided they’ll accept a bid in the region of £100m, meaning there isn’t a huge amount of ground for them to cover before they could get their man.

Lukaku’s agent, Federico Pastorello, is said to be pushing hard for a return to Chelsea, despite the player himself being eager to stay put.

Chelsea will have to shatter their own transfer record in order to bring him back, but can be safe in the knowledge that it would take a significantly higher fee in order to prize Kane away from Tottenham.
