    ‘I’d be groggy and couldn’t get going the next day’: Cheryl details her chequered history with sleeping pills after doctors prescribed drugs for her ‘overthinking and undersleeping’


    Cheryl has revealed she previously used sleeping pills after going to the doctors for help with ‘overthinking and undersleeping’. 

    Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Fight For This Lover, 38, continued to plug her collaboration with We Are Feel health products, this time encouraging followers to use natural sleep aid Feel Sleep and praising the benefit of the tablets. 

    She detailed her own struggles with sleep and explained that a combination of woes meant she sought help from doctors, yet she admitted many of the unnatural remedies left her ‘feeling groggy’ the next day.

    Her latest post for the brand comes just weeks after she revealed she has been ‘struggling with her energy levels’ as she promoted her vitamin range in a rare social media post.

    She looked radiant in the clips uploaded to her Instagram Story, which came six weeks after the death of her former Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding.

    Sarah passed away on September 5 aged 39 from breast cancer and Cheryl has made no public appearance’s since, pulling out of a Birmingham Pride performance last month due to her grief.

    Cheryl said in the clip promoting Feel Multivitamins: ‘Hi everyone, So I was just coming on here to tell you, that if you are looking for something to take that improves your hair, nails, skin and energy levels…

    ‘This is something I have been struggling with, then you really need to get onto this Feel Train.’
