    Boris Johnson has revealed his shock at the cardiac arrest suffered by Christian Eriksen during Denmark’s Euro 2020 match against Finland on Saturday. 

    The Prime Minister’s official spokesman said: “The Prime Minister was shocked by what happened yesterday. His thoughts are with Christian Eriksen and his family.

    “He is very thankful for the quick-thinking actions of officials and paramedics.

    “He thought the response of the players and fans in the stadium was exemplary and showed sport at its best.”
