She’s one of the Australian influencer community’s most prominent anti-vaxxers.

But Chloe Szep’s off-the-wall beliefs run deeper than just Covid denial, with the 23-year-old subscribing to a number of conspiracy theories online, including one that states the 1969 moon landing was faked.

The ‘#spaceisfake’ hashtag followed by Chloe is also home to hundreds of memes advocating flat earther theories.

Flat-earthers believe the earth is flat rather than spherical, contrary to over two millennia of scientific consensus.

Among Chloe’s other followed topics are the conspiracy theory-based hashtags #indoctrination, #dnaupgrades, #truthseekers and #simulationtheory.

The revelation comes after Chloe’s partner Mitchell Orval reportedly caused a scene at the buffet area of a Gold Coast resort.

The uproar occurred after staff asked him to wear a face mask and shoes.

According to Outspoken The Podcast hosts Amy and Sophie Taeuber, the 25-year-old was on holiday with Chloe and the couple’s son, Artie.

‘During breakfast service at the hotel, Mitch allegedly caused a stir when he entered the buffet with no mask and no shoes,’ said Sophie.

The podcast host pointed out that under current Covid restrictions, diners must wear a face mask when they take food from a buffet area.

‘According to our source who’s staying at the hotel, Mitch was asked by staff members to put a mask on,’ Sophie continued.

‘He allegedly replied saying he can’t wear one because of a medical exemption. Staff then also requested that he put some shoes on, so he was provided with some hotel slippers.’

After the pair had a brief laugh over the ridiculousness of the situation, Amy chimed in to highlight how the Covid rules in Queensland differ slightly.

She explained that residents in the Sunshine State don’t have to wear a mask if they have a medical condition and don’t have to provide a medical certificate to prove their exemption.

The sisters then took a look back at Mitchell and Chloe’s history of ignoring Covid rules and emphasising their ‘pro-choice’ stance on social media.

They referred to one infamous incident where the couple did not wear a mask at the height of the pandemic during a shopping trip.

Mitch and Chloe had uploaded a YouTube video documenting their visit to a shopping centre without wearing mandatory face masks several months ago.

Fans blasted the couple for their behaviour, labelling it ‘reckless’ and ‘entitled’.

Chloe later apologised for her actions in a post, but stressed the importance of ‘personal choice’.
