‘Here we go again’: Nadia Bartel’s remarks about Melbourne’s lockdown resurface… after she was fined $5,452 for breaking restrictions by attending a ‘cocaine’-fuelled illegal gathering

Nadia Bartel and three other women were fined $5,452 for attending an illegal gathering in Melbourne during the Covid lockdown on Thursday evening.

And now a video of the former AFL WAG, 36, speaking out about the city’s lockdown has resurfaced.

In the clip, which was posted to Instagram in May, Nadia shared her thoughts on Victoria entering its fourth lockdown after recording 26 coronavirus cases.

‘So here we go again, guys. Another lockdown for Melbourne. I know we’ve got to do it, but how are we all feeling?’ she asked her followers.

It comes after Nadia was seen for the first time since a video of her snorting ‘cocaine’ at a party during lockdown last week was sensationally leaked online.

Nadia was spotted on Tuesday as she visited ex-husband Jimmy Bartel’s home to pick up their sons, Aston, five, and Henley, two.

It was the first time the former WAG had been seen setting foot outside her home since the socialite was fined for breaking Melbourne’s strict lockdown.

On Monday, Nadia and three other women were issued with Penalty Infringement Notices following their illegal gathering in Melbourne last Thursday evening.

Each woman was fined $5,452, but a fifth woman was not charged because she was ‘complying with employment restrictions’, Victoria Police said on Monday.

Police are also investigating possible drug offences after Nadia was recorded at the party snorting white powder, believed to be cocaine.

Having her say:'Another lockdown for Melbourne. I know we've got to do it, but how are we all feeling?' she asked her followers

‘Four women have been issued with Penalty Infringement Notices following a gathering at a Richmond address in contravention of the Chief Health Officer’s restrictions,’ a Victoria Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.

‘The incident occurred at a private address on Thursday, September 2, at 4pm.

‘A 36-year-old Windsor woman, a 32-year-old Richmond woman, a 33-year-old Pascoe Vale woman and a 35-year-old Strathmore woman have all been issued with a Penalty Infringement Notice for failing to comply with requirements in relation to a private or public gathering.

‘The monetary penalty for each Penalty Infringement Notice is $5,452.

‘Enquiries into possible drug offences are ongoing.’

Nadia has apologised for flouting Melbourne’s lockdown by hosting the illegal gathering at which she snorted a line of white powder.

She was recorded snorting the powder off a $1.50 Kmart plate in a video mistakenly shared to Instagram by her friend and business partner Ellie Pearson.
