When it comes to exercise, Candice said it’s just a matter of ‘maintaining’ what she’s already developed.

‘Last year, I was focused on getting stronger and fitter for SAS Australia and now it’s just about maintaining the workload I did last year, so it’s about having fun training,’ she explained.

‘I’m doing a lot more walks, sometimes I’ll put a 10kg or 15kg weight vest on and go for a walk, or just training in the gym. For me, exercise is more what it does to me mentally than what it does physically.’
