It was recently reported that his net work has reached a whopping £27.5m.

And Declan Donnelly looked deep in thought as he stepped out in a stylish quilted gilet to film the latest Santander advert on Friday.

The TV personality, 45, stood with his hands in his pockets with a pout on his face as he waited to start filming with his BFF Ant McPartlin, also 45, nowhere in sight.

Declan looked sharp in the navy sleeveless jacket, which he layered over a blue and white striped shirt.

He completed the ensemble with a pair of sand coloured chinos and some box fresh white trainers.

And it was a good job Declan had his running shoes on as he could be seen rushing from a red car in scenes from Santander’s latest ad.

He showcased his muscular forearms as he pulled the door of the car open with his shirt sleeves rolled up before trying to lift a heavy door into the vehicle.

Next up, Dec lifted a large red door as cameras rolled.

Dec is one half of the comedy presenting duo Ant and Dec but his on-stage partner Ant McPartlin was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, the star lifted the prop with an unknown grey-haired man under the hot studio lights.

The filming comes after it was reported earlier this month that Dec’s fortune has risen to a massive £27.5m.

Dec ‘added £1m to his bottom-line last year’ according to The Sun, with his TV company Deecourt Limited raking in £2,255 per day.

His company’s exact balance is £27,523,787 according to the financial 2020 reports – an improvement on its £26,700,421 balance in 2019.

This is broken down to £16m in investment purchases and £6.6m worth of sales. A £112,017 profit was made on these investments.

The extra million is made up of £3,021 in computer equipment, a £29,956 corporation tax refund, and £1,303,654 in ‘holding cash’.

The company launched in 2006, with £458,901 to its name, after its first year in business. From then, the balance has only risen, due to ‘services provided by the director as a television presenter.’

Dec fronts shows alongside Ant McPartlin such as Saturday Night Takeaway, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Britain’s Got Talent.
