Dexter Morgan returns as Jim Lindsay as he tries to make a new life without the Dark Passenger in the new trailer for Dexter: New Blood.
The trailer was unveiled during the new show’s panel at Comic-Con@Home 2021 on Sunday, with Showtime also revealing the show will premiere Sunday, November 7.
The show is set 10 years after the original show, which ran for eight seasons between 2006 and 2013.

At the end of the original series, Dexter was seen moving from Miami to a cabin in Oregon, though the description of the series reveals he’s now settled down in Iron Lake, New York.
The trailer starts with Dexter seeing his therapist, who asks how he’s feeling right now, with Dexter stating, ‘Well, it’s been a whirlwind.’
He’s seen at his cabin, stating he’s, ‘always had my demons,’ as he’s seen walking through the small town of Iron Lake, greeting some of his neighbors.
Cabin: At the end of the original series, Dexter was seen moving from Miami to a cabin in Oregon, though the description of the series reveals he’s now settled down in Iron Lake, New York
