Jimmy Bartel is nursing his post-split wounds after parting ways with girlfriend Lauren Mand by spending some quality time with his two sons.
Posting to his Instagram Stories on Thursday, the former AFL star shared a picture of his boys, Aston, five, and Henley, two, as they enjoyed ice-cream in the backyard at home.
‘Big topics in the backyard for smoko,’ he cheekily captioned the photo of his tots.

In the image, the brothers were in good spirits as they enjoyed a break from homeschooling.
Jimmy, 37, is currently looking after his sons during Melbourne’s continued lockdown.
Last week, he also shared images from an adventure in the park with his little ones, noting they were making the most of: ‘Lockdown lunchtime homeschooling.’

It comes after the sports star reportedly split from his girlfriend Lauren.
According to the August 27 report in The Herald Sun, the pair, who have not been seen on one another’s social media in many months, have quietly called it quits.
In January, Lauren denied rumours she’d split from Jimmy by changing the profile picture on her private Instagram account to a photo of herself with the AFL star.
The photo was taken on December 25, as the couple spent Christmas together with Jimmy’s sons.
They had been the subject of break-up rumours in December after fans noticed it’d been months since Jimmy had shared a photo with his girlfriend on social media.

Jimmy has now finalised his divorce with ex wife Nadia Bartel, according to the Herald Sun.
The pair are said to have finalised the proceedings this week.
The Bartels, once considered one of the strongest AFL marriages, announced their separation in August 2019, but are believed to have split two months prior.

The former couple, who married in 2014, share custody of their two sons, Aston and Henley.
Jimmy’s romance with Lauren first made headlines in 2019, following his very public split from fashion designer Nadia.
Nadia appeared in good spirits on Thursday, when she slipped in a black bikini and uploaded a swimwear selfie to Instagram.

The picture sees the fashion designer standing in front of a mirror and the second has her sitting on the floor with spray tan bottles beside her.
‘Lockdown is a little better with a tan,’ the Nadia, 36, captioned the post.
The former WAG has gone from strength-to-strength since the split, establishing herself as a popular fashion designer with her Henne label.
Jimmy spent his footy career with the Geelong Cats from 2002 to 2016, winning the prestigious Brownlow Medal for ‘best and fairest’ player in the league in 2007.
