The 37-year-old reality star and lawyer in a Reality Life With Kate Casey interview spoke about experiencing privilege as a girl despite being raised in poverty by a single mother.

Eboni said she was in beauty pageants at age six and seven, while also working as a commercial actress.

‘I was signed to the Jay Thompson Agency. I interviewed for Interview With A Vampire (sic), because in the book by Anne Rice, that little girl is Creole,’ said Eboni who earlier this year became the first black housewife on The Real Housewives Of New York City.

‘I mean, I don’t know was it ’92 or some crazy s***. You know, the world was not ready to see some little brown girl kissing Brad Pitt in the mouth, or whoever she ends up kissing in the film. So, you know, obviously, Kirsten Dunst has my entire career. So there’s that,’ Eboni said.

    ‘I’m kidding,’ she added.

Interview With The Vampire was released in 1994 and starred Brad Pitt, 57, as vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac and Kirsten, 39, as five-year-old Claudia who becomes a vampire after Lestat de Lioncourt [Tom Cruise] saves her life in New Orleans in the 18th Century.

Eboni went on to say that she recognized even at a young age that her experience was unique.

She also opened up about her relationships with her new castmates on RHONY.

‘I mean, some have absolutely transcended castmates to friendships that will be lifelong,’ said Eboni, who has been friends with RHONY castmate Leah McSweeney, 38.

Eboni revealed that the Bravo show has been one of the most challenging experiences of her life.

‘This has been and this is no hyperbole, because I don’t really do hyperbole. This has been as challenging as anything I’ve done in my entire career, meaning Housewives of New York, and it’s been as challenging as working in politics. It’s been as challenging as working as an attorney. It’s been as challenging as working in a newsroom,’ Eboni said.

‘But what it has afforded me, Kate is such a deep, powerful introspection around my why, why? I’m obsessed with finding out my why,’ she said.
