    Edwina Bartholomew has offered a rare insight into her three-year marriage to her husband Neil Varcoe.

    The Sunrise host, 38, admitted the couple’s relationship has changed as they focus on parenting their one-year-old daughter Molly.

    ‘It’s been wonderful to have that common purpose in parenting, but that can also be a double-edged sword because it becomes all-consuming. It sounds depressing, but we are just kind of getting by,’ she told The Daily Telegraph.

    She joked: ‘I’m sure one of these days we will sit down to a romantic meal and light some candles and not fall asleep in our own dinner. But that’s not right now.’

    Edwina revealed the exciting news that she and Neil were expecting their second child last month.

    She said the family will spend time at their property in NSW’s Capertee Valley after the birth.

    ‘For the first few months of [Molly’s] life we were there on 100 acres and it was just the three of us, plus the dog, and it was a beautiful period,’ she said.

    ‘At the time my husband wasn’t working, which carried its own stresses, but it meant that he had this extraordinary amount of time with Molly he never would have had. So the challenge then is how do we replicate that?’

    Their baby is due in February next year.

    Edwina announced she was pregnant on Channel Seven’s Sunrise.

    ‘And in some developing news, news that will be developing for the next six months, we are having another baby,’ she said at the time.

    The happy couple married on their stunning property Warramba, near Lithgow, back in 2018.
