Emily Ratajkowski reveals that she has not heard from Robin Thicke since making groping allegation

Emily Ratajkowski disclosed that she has not heard from Robin Thicke since claiming in an essay that he allegedly groped her breasts on the Blurred Lines video set. 

The 30-year-old model while promoting her book My Body on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday was asked about the Blurred Lines essay that was leaked last month.  

Show host Andy Cohen, 53, introduced remote viewer Megan from New York who said, ”So Emily, since your essay about Blurred Lines was largely taken out of context when it was leaked to the press, what do you want people to know most about that specific essay and about making that music video?’

‘That’s such a good question. Well, I think people have to read the essay. Nothing I’m going to be able to say here is really going to sum it up. But I think it’s a really complicated picture. I had a great time on that set in many ways. This one moment happened,’ replied Emily who wore a green-and-black plaid jacket dress with tall white boots.

‘It’s also really a picture of just like a young girl starting to model and be a working model and think about the prospect of money and success, and I just want people to read the whole essay,’ she added.

‘Have you heard from Robin Thicke since the essay was published?,’ asked Andy.

‘I have not. I have not, no,’ Emily replied.

‘Did you expect to?,’ Andy asked.

‘No. The essay wasn’t written as a gotcha moment. It’s about me sort of setting the record straight and sharing the whole truth and my experience with the world,’ Emily said.

Andy then asked what she hoped women would take away from her book.

‘In that essay particularly I want people to kind of talk about power dynamics that I think are often shrouded on sets, but also just on dates and in the world in general. I think when you’re 19 and, you know, you’re coming into adulthood as a young woman, you can feel like you’re the most powerful person in the room. And there’s some power, but attention validation that comes with that, but it’s more complicated than that,’ Emily said.

Robin, 44, handpicked Emily to star in the music video for the 2013 hit song Blurred Lines that propelled her to fame. 

Emily has an eight-month-old son Sylvester with her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard.

The actress and model on Tuesday released her collection of essays titled My Body with publisher Metropolitan Books.

Emily was joined on the Bravo talk show by her good friend and fellow guest Ziwe, 29.

Ziwe was promoting the third and final season of Dickinson that premiered on November 5 on the Apple TV+ streaming service.
