Emma Raducanu has insisted she has not missed a single training session due to off-court commitments since her US Open triumph. The British No 1 has followed appearances at the Met Gala and the James Bond premiere by starring in a Sports Direct advert.
And she lost in the first round of her first event after New York at the Indian Wells Masters before reaching the quarter-finals at the Transylvania Open.
But before her final event of the year at the Upper Austria Ladies Linz, the Bromley teeanger insisted she is fully focussed on her job – and on winning more tournaments.
“I made it very, very clear to every single person in my team that I was not going to cancel one training session or practice session for any off court commitments,” said the US Open champion.
“I wanted to make sure that that is my priority, and it is. so everyone’s clear about that. But it’s just managing my time with the commitments around that.

And the world No.21 said she will have a new coach in place in time to prepare for January’s Australian Open.
“I’m here on my own and being my coach for me, and I’m really feeling positive about my coaching situation,” she said.
“It’s in a good place and yeah, so you guys all have a coach in place in the Australian Open. I am not publicly announcing it yet – it is just a bit confidential. It is my decision. It is not fully done. It is in a good place.
“I’m gonna have someone in place and I’m really excited to get some good work done in pre-season.”
