Emma Raducanu new ranking – where US Open champion places now after historic final

She beat Vitalia Diatchenko, Marketa Vondrousova and Sorana Cirstea in rounds one, two and three respectively.

But her Wimbledon dreams were dashed during her fourth-round match against Ajla Tomljanovic.

Raducanu retired from the match due to breathing difficulty, after appearing visibly distressed on the court.

Following her exit from Wimbledon, her ranking was boosted to world No 179.
