Florence Pugh bundles up while on a stroll in New York as she shows off her short and chic haircut

She recently took the chop and cut off her shoulder-length blonde hair.

And Florence Pugh looked chic-as-can-be wearing a warm winter coat while on a brisk stroll through New York City on Tuesday afternoon.

The 25-year-old actress showed off her new short hairdo while running errands in Manhattan after revealing her bold new look on Instagram just weeks ago.

Florence stayed warm underneath a black-and-white houndstooth coat with a thick furry collar and matching cuffs.

She mixed her sophisticated outerwear with athleisure as she stepped out wearing black track pants and a New Balance sports bra.

Pugh added inches to her petite frame with a pair of black leather boots and carried a white leather Louis Vuitton case in one hand while texting on her phone.

She swapped her usual long blonde locks for a cropped brunette style as she debuted her new hairdo last month.  

The make up free snaps showcased the Midsommar star’s natural beauty as her locks were swept to the side while she wrote in the caption ‘I did a thing..’ 

The star has recently been filming The Wonder in Ireland, which is based on the 2016 Emma Donoghue novel of the same name which follows an 11-year-old girl who is perfectly healthy though she has not eaten for months.

The star has recently been filming The Wonder in Ireland, which is based on the 2016 Emma Donoghue novel of the same name which follows an 11-year-old girl who is perfectly healthy though she has not eaten for months.

Florence is playing an English nurse, Lib Wright, who is sent to the small village to investigate the situation and care for the child in the period piece, which takes place in 1862.

The new film will also feature Tom Burke of Mank fame and First Man actor Ciarán Hinds, among many more talented actors.

Florence is set to star alongside Harry Style in Olivia Wilde’s new film Don’t Worry Darling. 

Earlier this year, a short trailer was released which showed her and the Golden singer sharing a very steamy kiss. 

The flick follows a housewife named Alice (Florence) in the 1950s who begins to suspect the company her husband Jack (Harry) owns is harbouring a dark secret.   

Don’t Worry Darling began shooting in Los Angeles in late 2020 but production was shut down for two weeks after someone on set tested positive for Covid-19.

It wrapped production in February 2021 and also stars Chris Pine, Gemma Chan and Olivia.
