In shocking footage which went viral on social media, police were seen aggressively pushing back protestors.

Several are seen swinging batons as the protestors are driven back.

Tear gas was also reportedly deployed as things turned increasingly violent.

One person tweeted: “The protest in Paris, France against the Macron government domestic vaccine pass is massive.”
