Gabrielle Union wowed in a stylish grey blazer and minidress as she arrived to Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Hollywood, California on Monday afternoon.
Ahead of her appearance on the popular late-night talk show, the 48-year-old Bring It On star looked cheerful and fresh-faced as she waved to fans outside the studio.
The beauty showed up with a warm beverage in her hand and a surgical mask over her nose and mouth amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

She completed her first ensemble with a pair of open-toed black high heels and dark tresses styled in a flirty ponytail.
After her interview, Union looked sensational in a sunshine yellow trench coat, which was belted to emphasis her trim waist, and nude pumps.

The mother-of-one published her memoir on September 14, in which she discussed her fertility struggles and learning her husband got another woman pregnant.
In a piece of the book, published by Time earlier this month, Gabrielle explained: ‘The experience of Dwyane having a baby so easily—while I was unable to—left my soul not just broken into pieces, but shattered into fine dust scattering in the wind.’
Union and Wade would go on to welcome daughter Kaavia via surrogate in 2018.

The piece began: ‘In 2013, before we were married, Dwyane had a baby with another woman. It should go without saying that we were not in a good place at the time that child was conceived.’
Gabi and Dwyane began dating in 2008 but according to the athlete’s own 2020 documentary, the pair were on a break when he and ‘longtime friend’ Aja Metoyer concieved Xavier, now seven.
At the time, Wade was already dad to Zaire, 18 and Zaya, 12, and was legal guardian to his nephew, Dahveon, 18.

Though the couple was ‘doing much better’ when he revealed his secret to her, she was heartbroken.
‘To say I was devastated is to pick a word on a low shelf for convenience,’ The actress explained. ‘There are people—strangers I will never meet—who have been upset that I have not previously talked about that trauma. I have not had words, and even after untold amounts of therapy I am not sure I have them now.’
Gabi was particularly hurt given how hard she was trying to have a baby with Dwyane.

After some reflection, Union began to research surrogacy options.
She and Wade married in 2014 and would welcome daughter Kaavia four years later.
Dwyane previously admitted that telling Gabrielle about Xavier was the ‘hardest thing’ he’s ‘ever had to do.’
‘I had a child with someone else and I had to tell her. Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do is man up and tell Gabrielle Union that I’ve had a child with somebody else,’ he said in his documentary D. Wade: Life Unexpected. ‘I couldn’t sleep. I wasn’t eating.’

Over the years Union has grown close to Wade’s older kids and shares memories of their modern family on her social media now and then.
While Zaire and Zaya often make appearances, Xavier’s presence appears to be more private.
Union has been a great support to Dwyane’s daughter Zaya, who came out as a transgender girl in February of 2020.
Gabi reintroduced her daughter to the world early last year, sharing an Instagram post that said: ‘Meet Zaya. She’s compassionate, loving, whip smart and we are so proud of her. It’s Ok to listen to, love & respect your children exactly as they are. Love and light good people.’
Wade also spoke about raising a transgender child in 2020, telling Ellen DeGeneres: ‘We are proud parents of a child in the LGBTQ+ community and we’re proud allies as well.’
