Manchester United legend Gary Neville has revealed the three players his former club need to win the Premier League next season. The Red Devils came closer than anyone else after finishing second to Manchester City this year.

Gary Neville has named the three players Manchester United need to win the Premier League title next season.

It comes as the Red Devils finished runners-up to Manchester City after a rollercoaster of a campaign.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came under mounting pressure early in the year after crashing out of the Champions League at the group stage.

But he has turned it around and led the club to second, without losing a single match away from home in the Premier League.

However, the Norwegian is not happy with a silver medal and is prepared to break the bank to go one step further and win the title.

Several elite players have been linked with an Old Trafford switch and now former United star Neville has had his say.

During a Twitter Q&A, the Sky Sports pundit was asked where his old club would finish with the right signings next year.

He replied: “Varane, Kane and Sancho = title.”

All three have been strongly linked with a move to United, with Solskjaer desperate for a centre-back, a winger and a striker.

However, each position could prove too costly with reports over differing asking prices.

Tottenham chief Daniel Levy has demanded £200m for Harry Kane while Jadon Sancho’s price, less than last year, still worth close to £80m.

Whether Real Madrid would accept an offer for Raphael Varane, with fellow defensive partner Sergio Ramos looking likely to leave when his contract expires this summer.

Losing both their top defenders in the same summer would be far from ideal at the Bernabeu, though the Frenchman will also be entering the final year of his deal.

As well as the named three, several other players have been linked including Erling Haaland, Kieran Trippier and Pau Torres.
