Feng shui elements abound throughout the home which also includes an insulated green roof, eco-friendly materials, and windows with fire resistant and waterproof treatments.

Simmons, who hails from New York, said in May that he is moving to a 24-acre estate in Washington, near Mount Rainier, in order to pay less in taxes compared to California.

‘California and Beverly Hills have been treating folks that create jobs badly and the tax rates are unacceptable,’ Simmons told The Wall Street Journal.

‘I work hard and pay my taxes and I don’t want to cry the Beverly Hills blues but enough is enough,’ he said.

He sold his longtime Beverly Hills home in September and set out for Vegas to live in the $8million mansion he purchased earlier this year, but Simmons told the Las Vegas Review Journal that his family didn’t want to move to the home because of how hot the area was.

Although he gave the mansion a shot for a few months, once he went on tour it sat vacant as his family wasn’t willing to live there, so he opted to put it back on the market for almost twice what he paid for it, and listed it in October for $14.95 million.

When the rocker was asked if he might buy another home in the area, he replied: ‘Can you speak with God and change the weather?’
