    She’s the glamorous racing commentator who is always dressed up to the nines when fulfilling her work commitments. 

    But on Tuesday, Francesca Cumani, 38, skipped the glam as she caught a flight to San Diego in the US. 

    The British-born TV personality, who was previously married to Australian international polo player Rob Archibald, refreshingly showed off her natural complexion going makeup free.

    The mother-of-one skipped the face paint and had her short hair out in loose, natural curls. 

    Sitting in business class and looking comfortable for the flight in a grey sweater, Francesca shared a selfie of herself on her Instagram stories.

    In her post, she said she was ‘looking forward to resting these eyes en route to San Diego for the Breeders Cup with ITV Racing’.

    Francesca works for both Channel 10 Sport Australia and also ITV in the UK.

    She used to commentate for Channel Seven.

    Francesca is the daughter of Italian thoroughbred horse trainer and breeder Luca Cumani.  

    She didn’t attend the Melbourne Cup in Australia this year, which is held at Flemington Racecourse, but commented on the event from London.

    ‘Right, next year I’m definitely going to be at ”The Cup” alongside the wonderful Channel 10 team at Flemington but this year I had to settle for beaming in from London,’ she captioned a picture of herself in a TV studio. 

    Last year Francesca was forced to cancel her Melbourne Cup commitments amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

    ‘Coronavirus is the reason why Francesca Cumani can’t join us in Australia this year for the Melbourne Cup,’ sports presenter Stephen Quartermain announced on Channel Ten.

    ‘But it hit home even more seriously overnight when Cesca’s dad [acclaimed Italian-born trainer Luca Cumani] was diagnosed with COVID-19 and she was put into isolation.’
