    They’re back! Gogglebox Australia’s Angie Kent and Yvie Jones reunite for a new podcast


    They’re the former housemates and best friends who became famous for their antics on Gogglebox Australia.

    And now Angie Kent and Yvie Jones are reuniting to bring to life a new podcast called Two girls, One Pod.

    The news was first shared by NovaFM’s official podcast Instagram on Tuesday, alongside an illustration of the pair.

    According to the post, fans can expect Angie, 31, and Yvie, 48, to ‘be talking about all the things you love them for – raw, unfiltered and honest chats between two best mates’.

    The podcast episodes will be released weekly, with their first dropping on Thursday, September 9.

    In a video uploaded on Angie’s account, the two are seen recording their podcast after they were reunited two years since parting ways when Angie appeared on The Bachelorette.

    The loveable duo also noted that they’re so serious about rebuilding their community of Goggleboxers, they’ve renamed their joint Instagram account to reflect their podcast.

    ‘We’ve turned our old Gogglebox Instagram into our new Two Girls One Pod instagram account. So head on over there and give it some lovin and keep up to date on all the madness,’ Angie added.

    ‘You can also send us an email or a DM with any topics you would like us to discs or people we can chat to on the pod.’

    Angie and Yvie became household names in Australia when they were couchmates on Gogglebox Australia between 2015 and 2018.

    After quitting the show in 2019, they joined season five of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

    Later that year, Angie was cast as the Bachelorette and found love with Carlin Sterritt, but they eventually called it quits in June 2020.

    In May, the reality star-turned-podcaster, told the Herald Sun she’s entitled to a long career in the spotlight because she’s proven her talent in multiple fields within he entertainment industry.

    ‘I feel women can have their fingers in different pies…. you can be on television and write a book and have a podcast,’ she said at the time.

     ‘I think Australians love to say “15 minutes of fame”. Is it 15 minutes of fame or is it a chance to explore and do something you’re good at?’ she added.
