Gwen Stefani reveals she had COVID at the onset of the pandemic and was forced to cancel a string of shows
Gwen Stefani revealed she was one of the millions of people who has suffered from COVID-19.
The 52-year-old singer recently returned to the stage for her Just a Girl residency at Zappos Theater on Friday in Las Vegas, which initially began in 2018 with dozens of shows through the years.
‘I was the first one to have COVID, in case you wondered,’ she told the crowd in Sin City. ‘I was in Vegas. Do you remember when I cancelled those four shows?’

She added: ‘I would literally take people up here and make out with you, but…I gotta make it through the next eight shows.’
Gwen was scheduled to perform between Feb. 7 through Feb. 14. Records show she resumed performing Feb. 15 through Feb. 22, with a list of canceled shows in May due to the pandemic.
She added: ‘Just because I can’t touch you, I’m still breathing your air right now, so that’s the risk that I’m taking because I love you guys.’

A lot has changed for Gwen since last year as she became a married woman when she said ‘I do’ to Blake Shelton.
Stefani’s children played a pivotal role in her wedding in August as they signed off as witnesses to their Oklahoma nuptials.
She enlisted the help of her oldest sons, Kingston, 15, and Zuma, 12, to make the wedding official, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

Her youngest son, Apollo, seven, reportedly ‘took part in the ceremony,’ but is not included in the paperwork which stated that the big affair went down at ‘Gwen’s Chapel’ on Blake’s ranch in in Mill Creek.
While their longtime friend and former judge on The Voice, Adam Levine, wasn’t able to attend, Carson Daly served as the officiant of the wedding on July 3.
The outlet reported that the document confirmed Daly was ‘an ordained minister for Universal Life Church in Johnston County, OK.’
