And the 48-year-old actress and her husband were seen checking on construction at the two-plus acre property on Saturday, along with some of their closest friends.
After giving a tour of the 14,000-square-foot mansion, Gwyneth and Brad embarked on hike with their pals, where the Shakespeare In Love actress endured a messy mishap.

While going over a small bridge, a passing car drove over a patch of water in the road and splashed Paltrow, nearly soaking the star from head to toe.
Taken by surprise, both she and her husband threw their hands in the air.
Gwyneth looked distraught as she surveyed her soaked ensemble, which was visibly drenched by the dirty water.
Falchuk, who also got splashed by the vehicle, quickly checked on the well-being of his wife before scanning his own clothes for water marks.
Not injured, but obviously scared by the randomness of the event, Paltrow took a few moments to gather herself.

Paltrow bought their Montecito property for $4.9 million back in 2016, but with the influx of high-profile people, and the recent surge in the real estate market, the value has likely skyrocketed.
The complete renovation appears to include an Olympic size swimming pool and an open-plan farmhouse, to go along with the gorgeous ocean views.
The property had boasted ‘Monet-like gardens’ and stunning water features.

They would reconnect in the ladder part of 2014, after her split from first husband and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and eventually go public with their relationship in April 2015.
The former couple have remained close and friendly as they co-parent their daughter Apple, 17, and son Moses, 15.
Palrow and Falchuk went on to tie-the-knot in September 2018.
