Iranian state TV said on Wednesday Iran has foiled an attempt by the US to “steal” oil in the Sea of Oman.
Iran’s Press TV said the Iranian oil tanker that US forces attempted to block is now in Iran’s territorial waters.
It described the incident as a failed attempt to “steal” oil.
It has not said when the incident took place.
