Jaguar Land Rover lifts covers on its ‘most desirable Range Rover’ set to launch this year

The new car goes on sale this Autumn and is expected to hit UK roads as early as next Spring. Priced between £94,400 and £137,800, the new vehicle will be available in a range of different designs.

Jaguar Land Rover said their new car will make “every journey an occasion” with a range of new modern technology.

This will “eliminate unwanted vibrations and distractions” and could also reduce the load on the drivers and passengers.

Professor Gerry McGovern, Chief Creative Officer at Jaguar Land Rover said the model has been constructed after “50 years of evolution”.

He said: “The New Range Rover is a vehicle with a peerless character, from the impeccable restraint of its exterior to the flawless tranquil sanctuary of its cabin.

“Informed by creative intellect and a desire for perfection, it doesn’t follow fashion or trend, but by a modernist design philosophy, combined with over 50 years of evolution, it is quite simply the most desirable Range Rover ever created.”

The manufacturer claims this will help occupants “arrive feeling refreshed”.

Built-in Amazon Alexa will recognise verbal commands ensuring drivers never have to take their eyes off the road.

The model will also feature a new Cabin Air Purification system to reduce bacteria and allergens including coronavirus.

Nick Collins, Executive Director of Vehicle Programmes at Jaguar Land Rover said the model will be one of the “most relaxing” experiences available to drivers.

He said: “The New Range Rover takes the lessons learned over 50 years of evolution and combines them with cutting edge technologies to deliver supreme refinement, comfort and wellbeing.

“It does this through pre-emptive suspension that primes the vehicle for upcoming corners, next-generation noise cancelling with new headrest speakers and clean air technology that can help significantly reduce odours and viruses.

“Creating one of the quietest, most relaxing, modern luxury travelling experiences imaginable.”
