Jenna Dewan didn’t let wearing a bulky firefighter suit get in the way of having some fun and dancing on the set of ABC’s The Rookie.
The 40-year-old actress joined the ABC series in the Season 3 finale, paving the way for her series regular role as Bailey Nune in Season 4, which debuted in late September.
Her co-star Nathan Fillion was also spotted on the set, while Dewan took to Instagram to share a number of videos of her interacting with the crew and showing off her dance moves.

Dewan was seen on set rocking her full firefighter gear, including a yellow fire suit, yellow helmet and work boots, with an oxygen tank strapped to her back.
She was also seen riding shotgun in a Los Angeles Fire Department fire truck on the set Tuesday afternoon.
Fillion, on the other hand, was in his LAPD blues, tending to a car crash while Dewan’s Bailey and other firefighters were nearby.

Dewan also took to her Instagram several times on the set, sharing several photos and videos with the caption, ‘Twas a fun day,’ while tagging, @therookieabc.
She also shared a video inside the fire truck with one of the real firefighters on set, who explained that they talked about everything from, ‘politics, family, girlfriends, boyfriends, religion’ and more, on their way to calls, adding, ‘It is fun, it really is.’
Another video shows Dewan practicing her dance moves during some down time on the set.

‘I think Jen is another coup for us, so yeah, that’s my plan. We couldn’t really do a ton of love interest stuff during the middle of the pandemic, but at the end of the day it felt like, “Let’s find him somebody to potentially take us into next season. And Jen is really special, and I love the character,’ he said.
The Rookie airs Sunday nights at 10 PM ET on ABC.
