Last month Joan celebrated completing her fifth quarantine stint and having roughly 30 negative Covid tests in eight months.

The actress recently enjoyed a holiday in Saint-Tropez, after originally flying to Spain for work purposes then crossing the border, but as France is on the amber list, she was required to quarantine on her return.

Taking to Instagram, the Dynasty star rejoiced at her newfound ‘freedom’ and also enjoyed a night out with husband Percy the night before.

Writing for the Daily Mail, Joan mused: ‘Not a month ago I was supposed to appear on a German TV show when the borders were shut with a day’s notice.

‘No consideration was given to the fact that I was fully vaccinated, tested negative the day before and only going for 24 hours.’

Joan also said she had been hounded with calls and visits from Covid Quarantine Officers while isolating at home, lamenting: ‘It’s all a joke.

‘The amount of money this Government has wasted checking that doubly vaccinated people are staying in their homes is obscene.’
