John Travolta is remembering his late wife Kelly Preston by marking the premiere of her final film role in the comedy-drama Off The Rails.
The 67-year-old actor shared the film’s trailer with his Instagram following on Friday, while recalling how much pride Kelly felt towards the production.
‘Off the Rails is Kelly’s last film,’ Travolta began in the caption. ‘She was very proud of it and of all of the wonderful talent that she got to work with in it.’

Travolta’s post caught the attention of his 21-year-old daughter with Preston, Ella Travolta, who shared three red heart emojis.
Off The Rails, which premiered in theaters Friday, also stars the likes of Jenny Seagrove, Sally Phillips, Elizabeth Dormer-Phillips, Ben Miller, Franco Nero and Judi Dench.
Preston plays an American named Cassie, one of three friends in their 50s who embark on an inter-rail adventure across Europe to celebrate the life of their recently deceased friend.
As part of her last wish, the deceased leaves behind four train tickets for her friends, with the condition that the three ladies take her teenage daughter with them in her absence.
Directed by Jules Williamson and written by Jordan Waller, the fun-filled journey started shooting back in February 2019, and would film between Mallorca, Barcelona and London.

Preston had been diagnosed with breast cancer just months before the start date, during the summer of 2018.
This past July 12 marked one-year since Preston passed away at the age of 57, which came two years after her heartbreaking breast cancer diagnosis.
Travolta announced the tragic news on Instagram, where he revealed his wife had ‘fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.’

Preston’s career highlights in Hollywood included roles in such films as Mischief (1985), Twins (1988), Jerry Maguire (1996), For Love of the Game (1999), What A Girl Wants (2003) and Death Sentence (2007).
During their 28-year marriage, Travolta and Preston were also the proud parents to sons Benjamin, now 10, and Jett, who passed away at 16 in January 2009 after suffering a seizure while the family vacationed in the Bahamas.
