Kane Brown embodied the old saying, ‘the show must go on’ in his home state of Tennessee Saturday night.

The country music star, who’s been out on his Blessed And Free Tour, fell off the stage and suffered a nasty ankle injury while performing at FedEx Forum in Memphis.

It happened just as the band kicked into a new song, and Brown was attempting to walk down off a platform to the area in front of the stage, known as the pit.

Brown was riling up the fans atop that platform, when he decided to make his way down five steps to the main stage.

From there, he had to take a step down onto another platform, or possible speakers, which is exactly the point where he stumbled and twisted his ankle.

He tried to recover from the slip in the moment but his momentum forced him to fall forward off the stage

Fans and security hovered around the singer to see if he was alright and need assistance back to the stage, all the while his band played on.

But after about one minute, amid the growing concern for Brown, the musicians halted the show to assess the situation when they noticed their leader was in severe pain.

Brown, 28, would end up taking a few moments away from the audience before returning to the microphone. Despite the pain and swollen ankle, he and the band carried on with the show, which the fans surely appreciated from the sounds of their cheers and roars.

Afterwards, Brown shot a quick video of his grotesquely swollen ankle and posted in on Instagram.

Keeping a sense of humor about the mishap, he could be heard from behind the camera joking: ‘It’s alright… it looks normal.’

Brown would only have one day to muster up the will power, and endure the pain, for his next concert at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday.

Once he gets through the Atlanta show, he and the band have an 11 day break until the next scheduled show on November 4 at Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.

The Blessed And Free Tour is slated to go through December 4, and then after a break for the holidays, pick back up on January 6 and go until February 4, 2022.
