As a future Queen Consort, Kate, Princess of Wales spends a lot of her time in the public eye. Her royal engagements span from the more casual to official state banquets, so how does she manage to look flawless in every photo?
When it comes to sitting down for photos, Kate has a helpful trick to look polished in front of the camera.
The Princess’ move has become so popular it’s even earned its own nickname, the “Duchess slant”.
A spokesperson from ParrotPrint.com said: “This pose was named after Kate Middleton once she attended public royal engagements after joining the Royal Family.
“It was further emphasised as intentional when Meghan Markle also began attending these engagements and adopted the same pose.

Kate also tends to keep her hands free, to allow her to shake as many hands as possible on royal outings.
If she does carry a bag, she usually does so in front of her with both hands in an elegant pose.
Kate’s bag method is similar to the late Queen’s, who would normally carry a long-handled handbag with her wherever she went.
“Queen Elizabeth II’s signature pose, clasping your hands together near your waist is sufficient for keeping a handbag accessory in place,” the ParrotPrint.com spokesperson added.
