Khloé Kardashian showed off the progress on her new dream home, which is still under construction, with her 148 Instagram followers on Thursday afternoon.

While keeping her fans updated on the property’s renovations, the 36-year-old reality star shared footage of an massive swimming pool, connected directly to a jacuzzi, as well as a glimpse of the mansion’s interior.

The large pool, which she assured earlier this month was ‘slowly but surely coming along’ still had visible pipes, but the stairs were completed.

As she entered her home, the mother-of-one squealed: ‘I have dry wall coming on!’

‘The start of my kitchen island is coming along,’ she raved, while giving a tour of her kitchen. ‘Right now, it looks like a big block, so I’m going to put marble on it.’

She gushed: ‘We’re getting closer! It doesn’t look like it, but we are!’

Her home and her mom’s, which costs $20 million, for a combined total of $37 million, sits on land that used to have one single family home that Britney Spears once rented in 2011 and 2012 for $25,000 a month per Page Six.

It was revealed in late April that the Good American founder and the 65-year-old momager had purchased side-by-side mega mansions in Hidden Hills.

They purchased the neighboring lots on the same day from Metro Development Homes just before Christmas to build their custom home of their dreams.

Per The Dirt, the brokers originally proposed one single family home on the 3.4 acre property, but Kris and Khloe counter-proposed two homes on the then-single lot.

Originally the land was owned by construction magnate Ron Tutor – father of Million Dollar Listing star Tracy Tutor – and included a home of 20,000 sq ft.

That home was once leased to Britney Spears.

The pop star rented the home in 2011 and 2012 for $25,000 a month, according to the LA Times.

It was sold in 2012 for $7 million to a local developer who razed the house.

After that, the land was left vacant for years before being passed to its current developer, Metro Development Homes.

Despite the exorbitant amount, the real estate purchases aren’t the most expensive Hidden Hills prices on record as a property sold for $22.3million in June 2019.

The Dirt noted that the Kardashian-Jenner purchases still rank high among the priciest ever sold in the entire Valley.

Kris’ home will reportedly be 16,500 square feet, with eight bedrooms and 9.5 baths, including an eight car garage, covered patios, gym, office, pool and spa, movie theater and guest home, Variety reported.

Khloe’s home will be about 10,000 square feet, with an oversized pool and like Kris, a modern farmhouse architectural style, per Variety.

When they finally move in, the duo will be just a stones throw away from Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, who have homes in Hidden Hills.

Khloe offloaded her Calabasas mansion in November, selling it for $15.5 million.

Kris, 65, sold her Hidden Hills home, situated just across the street from daughter Kim’s home, in April 2020 for $15 million in an off-market deal.
