Well that’s… different! Kyly Clarke gets ‘creative’ in the kitchen – by making an angel out of cut-up sausage

She’s the former cricket WAG who loves to share her life on social media.

And on Sunday, Kyly Clarke revealed she was getting ‘creative’ in her kitchen – by cutting up a sausage and forming it into the shape of an angel.

The 40-year-old showed off her surprise cooking talents in a picture shared to Instagram, in a meal presumed to be for her and her ex-husband’s five-year-old daughter, Kelsey Lee.

On the plate, Kyly had perfectly snipped up the meat into bite-size pieces to form the outline of the angel.

Either side of her creation, she crafted wings using what appeared to be fried eggs.

She poured no condiment on the plate, instead letting the impressive figure take centre stage.

‘Part of tonight’s creative dinner… the angel begins,’ she wrote.

While she appeared to tease that more was to come, there was no follow-up post to her dish two hours later.

Indeed, Kyly often puts her creativity to good use when it comes to her daughter.

Just last month, she treated her little girl to a My Little Pony-themed party while in lockdown at their home in Sydney.

Kyly shared a gallery of photos to Instagram of the pair painting a character from the popular children’s TV show.

Kelsey Lee looked adorable in a My Little Pony costume and couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she spent time with her mother.

After completing her artwork, she proudly held up her canvas for the camera.

Kelsey Lee’s father is retired Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke.

The Clarkes share 50-50 custody of their daughter and have been on good terms since their split in February 2020 after seven years of marriage.

Despite their public split, the former high-school sweethearts only have good things to say about each other as they work together to co-parent Kelsey.

In an interview with Now to Love in December, Michael revealed that Kelsey was a good mix of both her parents.

‘She’s a terror like me,’ he laughed, adding: ‘I think she’s got her mother’s features, certainly her mother’s kind-hearted personality.’

Michael went on to explain that Kelsey Lee enjoys spending quality time with her mother and father after their separation.

‘My little girl just wants time with both her mum and her dad, and that’s what we try and manage,’ he said.

‘I think when you’ve got a child involved [in a divorce], your kid always comes first. Everything else is second to that, so whatever your child needs you find a way to make it work,’ he added.
