Lauren Goodger reveals she has caught bronchitis

Lauren Goodger has caught bronchitis off her daughter.  

The former TOWIE star, 35, who shares baby Larose, three months, with her boyfriend Charles Drury, 24, took to Instagram stories on Tuesday evening to reveal she had fallen ill after her daughter contracted the lung infection. 

She said: ‘Mumma and bubba went doctors this morning and she got bronchitis and I’ve caught it so we resting together with lots of cuddles [sic].’

Lauren often chronicles life as a mother on social media and voiced her heartache over seeing the tot unwell as she posed in bed with little Larose. 

Speaking to her daughter from behind the camera, Lauren said: ‘Are we not well? Mummy’s caught it now. Poor baby. Mummy’s got it as well.’

She then offered fans an update in written form as she continued her recovery. 

Lauren penned: ‘Thank you everyone for your messages. Sorry to be slow and not replying. I am keeping a close eye on her and I know a lot of babies have been seriously ill and in hospital with bronchitis after reading your DMs from mums…

‘We actually know a baby who has just come out of hospital with having this for weeks. We are resting up – housework, calls, everything is being declined today…

‘Feel so rough, so bless her to feel this also her little cough.’

Bronchitis is an infection of the main airways of the lungs (bronchi), causing them to become irritated and inflamed.

The main airways branch off on either side of your windpipe (trachea). They lead to smaller and smaller airways inside your lungs called bronchioles.

The illness comes just days after Lauren marked baby Larose’s thee-month birthday with a sweet Instagram snap of the tot asleep on her in the bath.

Lauren lay topless with her eyes closed in the snap as she cradled her daughter, with Lauren remarking in the caption that she’s ‘so proud to be your Mummy.’

Little Larose looked adorable as she lay sound asleep on her mother’s chest following a shared bath time, while new mum Lauren looked radiant.

The star shared a heartfelt caption as she marked Larose’s three-month milestone, while gushing over her ‘loveliest sweetest’ daughter. She penned: ‘My absolute world is 3 months (13th week) old today…

‘She is the most loveliest sweetest baby… everyone that meets her and holds her says wow what a content baby she even falls sleep on mummy in the bath after feeding… just so proud to be your Mummy.’
