Leeds fans taunt Man Utd stars Rashford and Sancho with X-rated Euro 2020 chant

Manchester United stars Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho were the subject of an explicit chant by Leeds United fans, relating to their penalty misses in the final of Euro 2020. The two clubs, who have a fierce rivalry, met each other for their opening Premier League game of the season on Saturday afternoon.

Rashford and Sancho were subjected to racist abuse in the aftermath of the Euro 2020 final, with their missed penalties in the shootout against Italy contributing to the heartbreaking loss.

Much of the country rallied behind them, as well as Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka who also missed penalty, in a show of support for their heroics over the summer.

Leeds fans pounced on their opportunity to take aim, however, with a song stating that they had ‘let the country down’.

In full, the chant stated: “Sancho and Rashford let the country down, you scum b*******.”
