Love Island Australia's Ryan Reid leaves his co-stars stunned as he EATS the thread from his jeans

Ryan Reid bizarrely started to eat the thread from his ripped jeans as he wallowed in his relationship problems on Thursday’s episode of Love Island Australia.

The 25-year-old was comparing heartbreak with Aaron Waters, when he pulled a thread from the knee of his jeans and popped it into his mouth.

‘Did you just eat that?’ a disbelieving Aaron, 24, asked Ryan, after seeing the thread disappear into his mouth.

After glancing over at Mitch Hibberd, who was seated on the bed opposite them, an apathetic Ryan simply responded, ‘Yeah.’

An awkward silence followed, as a stony-faced Mitch, 25, glanced back and forth between Aaron and Ryan. 

It came after Aaron stormed off following yet another fight with his new girlfriend, Jess Velkovski.

A frustrated Aaron charged into the bedroom and slammed the door shut behind him, where he was heard crying.

‘She’s overreacting… F**k. F**k this is so dumb… I can’t do it anymore,’ he was heard sobbing from behind the door.

Later talking about his fight with Jess, 23, Aaron branded it ‘ridiculous’ and admitted he had no idea how to fix things.

‘Obviously it makes me upset, because it’s, like, so avoidable,’ he confessed.

Jess was left furious after Aaron pulled a ‘disgusted’ face when she suffered a nip slip at one of the villa’s famous parties.

Although Aaron denied any wrongdoing, Jess refused to believe him and insisted: ‘I saw what I saw.’
