    Married At First Sight’s Jason Engler slams his fame-hungry co-stars and says certain cast members believe they’re huge celebrities now

    Married At First Sight’s Jason Engler has slammed his fame hungry co-stars for chasing the spotlight.

    During an appearance on Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson’s podcast What Happens After, the tradie said that some of their fellow cast members had grown inflated egos since appearing on TV.

    ‘I’ve seen a lot of, even close mates from this show, they will get out of the show and think they’re like some kind of magic celebrity,’ he said.

    ‘Like, “ooh look at me, I was filmed for 12 weeks on some lame *** TV show.” Whoop-de-doo, please,’ he continued. 

    ‘You’re the same bloody person, not a bloody celebrity so that s**t really grinds my gears,’ he added.

    Multiple participants from this year’s season of Married At First Sight have signed with talent agencies and management since appearing on the show.

    Johnny Balbuziente and Kerry Knight, both 30, signed with Benji Hart’s THE.mgmt.

    Perth-based musician Booka Nile, who failed to find love with Brett Helling on MAFS, will also be represented by THE.mgmt.

    Melbourne fashion designer Sam Carraro and FIFO worker Chris Jensen are being repped by Max Markson.

    Belinda Vickers is another one who has joined THE.mgmt, while her boyfriend Patrick Dwyer chose influencer marketing agency InStyle Media. 

    Bryce and Melissa are also with InStyle Media, in addition to having their own podcast with Podshape. 

    Meanwhile, Beck Zemeck has launched her own food blog, while Jake is focused on his clothing line and mental health organization.
