Chris and Cam Grant have recalled the unique moment when they built a hideaway called The Reserve with Matthew McConaughey.

The brothers were doing a promotional campaign with the Hollywood A-lister in 2019 after he unexpectedly contacted them about their company Unyoked, which designs eco-friendly remote cabins in the Australian wilderness.

Chris and Cam have unpacked the details of the encounter in a post on Instagram and explained how the actor worked with them to create a cabin in Sydney.

‘We’re not that good at Photoshop; this really happened. Matthew McConaughey was so into nature-dosing that he asked if he could create a hideout with us,’ the post read.

‘It’s called The Reserve, and it’s only 1.5 hours from Sydney. Complimentary bourbon on arrival.’

The brothers then jokingly added Matthew’s iconic catchphrase from the 1993 teen comedy Dazed and Confused, ‘Alrightalrightalright.’

In an interview with Smart Company, the brothers said the whole experience was ‘surreal’.

‘Cam and I weren’t out there fishing for it, he came to us,’ Grant said. ‘I think when we came across his desk it just piqued his interest.’

Having grown up in Texas and spent time in Australia as a teenager, Matthew’s ‘outdoorsy’ interests were already there when they began the project.
