The first husband of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and his wife welcomed their second child to the world a few days ago. Trevor Engelson and Tracey Kurland named the baby Sienna Lee.
The couple, who have been together for more than four years, have another daughter, Ford Grace, who is 15 months old.
Mr Engelson and Ms Kurland announced their engagement just two weeks after Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018, and then married at the Rosewood Miramar Beach resort in Montecito, California, in May 2019.
Mr Engelson and Meghan dated for six years, starting in 2004, before getting engaged and marrying in Jamaica in 2011.
Now, Mr Engelson and Ms Kurland, the daughter of a multi-millionaire banker, are growing their family.
The pair took to social media to announce the birth and name of their second daughter but gave no further explanation on what inspired them to call her Sienna Lee.
It is thought Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi,
by choosing a traditional Italian girl’s name, wanted to honour their daughter’s Italo- British heritage.
Of Latin origin, it originated from Siena, a city in the Tuscany region.
At the same time, Sienna Elizabeth, born on September 18, also pays tribute to the Queen in using her first name,
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have had similar intentions with Lilibet, born on June 4, as it was the nickname Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh used for Her Majesty.
