Former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke appears to have reunited with his estranged wife Kyly, almost two years after they separated in September 2019.
The former couple – who were married for seven years before calling it quits – enjoyed a romantic getaway in Sydney’s Palm Beach over the weekend, joined by their five-year-old daughter, Kelsey Lee.
The family spent two nights at a $13million mansion owned by former Crown Resorts chairman Rob Rankin, which costs $2,400 per night to rent.
The Clarkes went on several outings to the local shopping precinct, and according to an onlooker seemed to be ‘very much an item, not just friendly exes’.
Their cosy weekend away comes after they both dated other people while separated: Michael had a high-profile romance with fashion designer Pip Edwards, while Kyly enjoyed a brief fling with V8 Supercars driver James Courtney.

During one outing, the pair were seen strolling down the footpath with take-away coffees as they shared a cheerful-looking conversation.
They could easily have been mistaken for a couple in the throes of a new romance as they smiled and chatted together.
Kyly, 39, and Michael, 40, were pictured exiting a supermarket with Kelsey Lee in tow on another occasion.

The sportsman pushed a full trolley of groceries towards a parked car, while Kyly and her lookalike daughter walked close behind.
The trio then packed away their shopping and climbed into the family-sized vehicle.
An onlooker told Daily Mail Australia that Kyly and Michael were ‘quite affectionate’ once they were inside the car.

Kyly, Michael and Kelsey Lee were also spotted relaxing on the balcony of their holiday home on several occasions.
On one of the days, the co-parents ate breakfast together and chatted while enjoying the morning sunshine.

The batsman even snapped photos of his estranged wife as she performed an impressive handstand.

The gym enthusiast completed her look with a floppy sun hat and styled her brunette hair in voluminous waves.
Later in the day, she was pictured strolling around the property’s private pool area while wrapped in a towel.

Michael, meanwhile, was seen standing on the balcony in a pair of boardshorts as he stripped off his shirt ahead of a lazy day by the pool.
The Clarkes appeared to be joined by another family for at least one of the days.

In an official statement at the time, the Clarkes said the ‘amicable’ decision to separate was ‘the best course’ for their daughter.
After ending his marriage, Michael began dating P.E Nation founder Pip Edwards, 41.
