‘I can be as fat as I want… and as thin as I want’: Furious MNEK hits back at ‘a**hole’ Twitter follower after he is urged to lose weight for his fans

MNEK has hit out on social media after one follower urged him to lose weight for the sake of his ‘fans.’

The British singer, real name Uzoechi Osisioma Emenike, promptly responded after reading the uncharitable tweet about his body shape on Sunday.

The original post, sent from a since deleted Twitter account, read: ‘We need our slim Mnek back.’

Replying to the post, MNEK, 26, wrote: ‘Respectfully this is really disappointing. I acc think you’re an a**hole. [sic]

‘I mean, look, I don’t belong to nobody. I am my own person, I can be as fat as I want and as thin as I want. If you prefer me slimmer, that’s fine. But I don’t need this comment. And I really would appreciate if you took this as a lesson that this opinion of someone else’s body is unwarranted.

‘You don’t know what they’re going thru or what has led them to lose the weight. So just shut up…respectfully.’
