Australian pop prince The Kid Laroi made his triumphant red carpet debut at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York on Sunday night.
Joined by his TikTok star girlfriend Katarina Deme, the 18-year-old rapper showed off his slick style by going shirtless beneath a black leather jacket, matching trousers and a pair of oversized sunglasses.
The Without You singer completed his eye-catching ensemble with black-and-white Converse sneakers and a large, diamond-encrusted crucifix necklace.

Laroi and Katarina, who celebrated their one-year anniversary in July, packed on the PDA during their grand arrival, smooching and cuddling as they posed for photos against the media wall.
Looking glamorous, model Katarina, 17, dressed to impress in a black floor-length gown with green rhinestone straps, teamed with a green sequin evening bag by Prada.
She wore her light brown locks down in loose waves and painted her face with a dramatic makeup look.

Later in the evening, Laroi performed his hit tune Stay with Justin Bieber – a song that has topped charts around the world.
Born Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, Laroi has enjoyed huge success and has already hit several major career milestones.
Stay and Laroi’s F**k Love mixtape reached No. 1 on the global Billboard charts in early August, making him the youngest Australian artist to achieve this accolade.

Laroi spoke to The Kyle & Jackie O Show in February about his romance with Katarina, revealing they’d met through mutual friends.
Radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson described Katarina as ‘the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen’, prompting Laroi to laugh and say: ‘I agree!’

The Indigenous star added that he never expected to fall in love so young, but did so shortly after relocating from Sydney to Los Angeles, where Katarina is based.
‘Around the time that I met her, I just put out the whole F*ck Love project and was not in the vibe of love,’ he said.
‘But I guess… you can’t control some of that type of stuff. It was so ironic.’
