    His best known role saw him switching faces with John Travolta’s character in 1997 action classic Face/Off. 

    And Nicolas Cage has made quite the transformation in his latest role.

    The  57-year-old actor looked every bit the rugged action man as she showed off a new look including freshly shaven head in a first look photo from upcoming film Butcher’s Crossing which was first published by Deadline.

    As the talented star is filming in Montana, he bundled up in a large brown animal fur coat as his new look included a goatee.

    Under his fuzzy outerwear Nicolas sported another jacket over a denim shirt.

    In the film, Nicolas portrayed a buffalo hunter named Miller.
