Novak Djokovic warned how Rafael Nadal's plans will 'pile the pressure' on him

All three are level on 20 career Grand Slam titles each, and Australian former pro Todd Woodbridge wonders if Djokovic would be happy to afford the Spaniard a greater chance of taking the lead on that front.

Woodbridge, who won 16 major doubles titles in a stellar career, believes Nadal’s participation could force Djokovic into a decision.

“One thing that stood out to me is that Novak has been laid the challenge from Rafael Nadal,” he told 2GB radio.

“Now, the challenge within that is, ‘does he win the tournament and take 21 [major wins] and get back in front?’ Does Novak want to let him do that?

“I’m sure he won’t want to be in that position, so at some point Novak is going to have to make that call [as to whether he gets vaccinated].
