Prince Harry and William texting over England-Germany win – ‘Step in right direction’

Tensions have only been made worse in light of Harry and Meghan’s recent “truth bombs” made during the Oprah Winfrey interview in March.

A royal source told The Daily Mail the Dukes had exchanged a few positive text messages over the footy result.

“It is still far from good between them,” the source explained.

“But there has apparently been an exchange of messages, particularly about the football, which is a step in the right direction, if only to do honour to their mother.”

Prince William, Kate Middleton and their eldest son Prince George joined around 40,000 supporters at Wembley stadium for England’s match in the Euro 2020 football tournament.

The Duke of Cambridge is the current president of the Football Association and took over the role from the Duke of York in 2006.

Prince Harry also made a public appearance yesterday after exiting quarantine at Frogmore cottage.

The Duke of Sussex attended an awards ceremony for WellChild, a children’s charity in London.

“This commemoration has been a long term project for both William and Harry and both of them are adult enough to put any feelings to one side to ensure the day goes off without a hitch.

“Certain things don’t need to be said, it’s an unspoken agreement to do what is right in that moment, just as they have said before, this is about their mother’s life and celebrating her legacy.”
