The Prince’s beard has divided the opinions of royal fans with many preferring his clean-shaven look, a typical look for the male members of the Royal Family. However, new research has shown that since the Queen’s funeral which was televised across the globe, there has been a 25 percent increase in the number of men asking about a cosmetic procedure to enhance their facial hair.

Prince Harry’s so-called “golden chin” has been claimed as the source of the rise in people researching beard transplant procedures.

However, David Beckham was also pictured many times in the run up to the Queen’s funeral after queueing for over 12 hours to see the Queen lying in state.

The former footballer is well-known for his style and good looks and of course, his beard which has become a staple for him.

The Wimpole Clinic, which is the nation’s biggest surgery provider, said that there was a 25 percent increase in queries for the surgical procedure in the last month since the funeral.

The CEO of the Wimpole Clinic Warren Vaheeswaran said: “Prince Harry looked spectacular in recent coverage – his facial hair capped a really handsome look; it seems that trendsetters have taken notice.

“Since his beard hit the front pages, we’ve been bombarded with enquiries for our popular beard transplants.”

The CEO continued: “We’ve had a 25 percent uptick in requests. It’s an easy procedure and the masculine look is now very much in vogue again. Harry is a great role model for young men.

“With prices going around £3,500, men feel it’s worth the money to look stylish in London.”

Meanwhile @AvsRoyalSussex tweeted: “Is it just me or did Prince Harry seem to level up after meeting Meghan? His beard, teeth, hair, and happiness seemed to glow right up.”
