The Princess Royal, 70, wore an elegant red dress as she attended an event at upmarket department store Fortnum & Mason with her husband Tim Laurence last night. Anne, who recently welcomed her fifth grandchild, completed her look with black heels and a matching handbag.
She accessorised with a chic pearl necklace and ensured she followed Covid rules with her face mask.
Meanwhile, Anne’s husband Tim, 66, looked smart for the black-tie event.
The couple, who live in Gloucestershire, were pictured leaving the venue after their rare evening out.
They both carried Fortnum & Mason bags as they exited the posh department store.
Their outing came just hours after it was confirmed that Anne’s son Peter Phillips and his estranged wife Autumn Phillips had reached a final settlement over their divorce.
A spokesman for the former couple said the terms of the agreement were approved and ordered by the High Court on Monday.
The spokesman said: “Mr Peter Phillips and Mrs Autumn Phillips are pleased to be able to report that the financial aspects of their divorce have been resolved through agreement, the terms of which have been approved and ordered by the High Court today.

The pair separated in 2019 and announced their split in February last year, describing the decision as sad but amicable.
They were pictured together a month later, celebrating a win at the Cheltenham races.
The Phillipses said at the time they would share custody of their two daughters and that the decision was “the best course of action for their two children and ongoing friendship”.
Anne’s only son is the first of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh’s grandchildren to divorce.
Meanwhile, the Princess Royal’s daughter Zara Tindall welcomed her third child with husband Mike earlier this year.
The little boy, named Lucas, became Anne’s fifth grandchild.
