Despite the noise surrounding Hamilton’s power unit, former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher believes Verstappen’s new engine will give him the advantage in Turkey this weekend.

But he has backed Hamilton to fire back in the United States Grand Prix near the end of the month if he doesn’t change his engine.

He told Sky Germany: “With his new engine, I expect Max to win the [Turkish Grand Prix].

“But I expect Lewis Hamilton to hit back in the United States, providing he doesn’t change his engine there,” Schumacher added.
